Australian Institute of Mortgage Brokers (AIMB)

AIMB provides Finance Advisors with a range of quality professional services that will allow them to further their careers as mortgage professionals.  The aim of the AIMB is to provide member brokers with a comprehensive education and training resource that is second to none, as well as maintaining liaison with governments at all levels.


Connective OSN

Connective OSN is an independently owned Australian company specialising in providing a complete mortgage broker services network. They offer services to brokers and lenders right across the country, providing a complete resource centre for mortgage professionals.  Connective OSN provides specialist research and training, which Loans Australia passes onto its clients. In addition, Connective OSN allows Loans Australia to access a majority of the major lenders in Australia as well as access to special interest rates and fee discounts that are not always available when approaching a lender directly.
Connective OSN has invested in leading edge technology, which provides Loans Australia with innovative electronic qualification and loan comparison software to aid in the product selection process. In addition, Directors of Connective OSN currently sit on various mortgage industry committees aiming to positively shape and improve the mortgage industry for the future.


Credit Ombudsman Service Limited (COSL)

Loans Australia is a member of the Credit Ombudsman Service Limited which is a free and independent External Dispute Resolution Scheme. It provides consumers with an alternative to legal proceedings for resolving disputes with COSL members operating in the credit marketplace. The Ombudsman deals with complaints up to $100,000. Loans Australia's membership number is 401806.
In our commitment to providing you with the best possible solution for your financial circumstances, please contact us as soon as possible if you have a problem or a complaint about the product, service or recommendations.  We will aim to resolve your problem within 10 days of contacting us.
However should you wish to take your complaint further you may use the Credit Ombudsmen's Complaint Resolution Scheme.


Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA)

The Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA) has a Code of Practice (Code) which Loans Australia must adhere to at all times. The intention of the Code is to promote good relations between Loans Australia and clients, Credit Providers and others involved in the finance industry.  
As members of the FBAA (Membership Number: 2551), Loans Australia has to meet various service standards and good practice as set out by the code. In addition, Loans Australia is subject to the FBAA Dispute Resolution Service which is available in the public section of the FBAA website www.financebrokers.com.au. A copy of the FBAA Code of Practice is also available at this website.
To ensure your Finance Advisor is an accredited member of the FBAA, log onto their website www.financebrokers.com.au and click on the Accredited Members List and enter the company name.


Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA)

Finsia is one of the largest financial services organisations in Australia and New Zealand. They are recognised as a leading educator and membership body with a reputation for building careers and raising standards in financial services. Their commitment is to connect professionals to the most current, practical and leading edge education and link members to an expansive global network.


Property Investment Professionals of Australia (PIPA)

PIPA is an organisation seeking to increase the education, compliance and code of conduct of qualified advisors so that consumers can seek out professional advisors when investing in property.

As a member of the PIPA I am working closely with an association that aims to:

  1. Develop industry codes to protect property investors;
  2. Develop and promote education and accreditation of qualified advisors;
  3. Uphold compliance and regulatory requirements;
  4. Commit to the industry’s code of conduct; and
  5. Work continuously to ensure excellence, disclosure and integrity within the property investment industry.
